Boy doll
Description
Käthe Kruse (1883-1968), originally an actress and married to a Berlin
Sculptor, made her own dolls for her daughters, which soon went into larger production
soon went into larger production. The melancholy, almost scowling faces are counter images to the cute doll faces of the time.
