Automated clock with sitting monkey
Description
A monkey sits on a gilded and engraved brass plate covering a wooden case. His right shoulder joint, lower jaw and eyes are movable. He holds a mirror in his left hand and an apple in his right, which he brings to his open mouth to bite into as the hour strikes. The rolling eyes are connected to the walking mechanism. On his head he wears a jester's cap and a crown.
