Memories of the Eurovision Song Contest belong in the museum! We want to capture your memories of this major event, preserve them for the future and keep them alive.
We are looking for objects that have a connection with the Eurovision Song Contest - and their stories. We need your help: Do you have old concert tickets, merchandise or maybe even an autograph? Lend or donate your memorabilia and tell us what it means to you.
The Eurovision Song Contest in Basel is just around the corner, starting in May. Preparations are in full swing. But as quickly as it all began, it will soon be over. What will remain of the ESC in Basel? And where are all the stories about the previous ESCs? What to do with all the emotions and memories? – To the Basel Historical Museum! We want to capture your memories, share them, preserve them for the future and keep them alive.
That's why we are looking for objects with stories that connect you to the ESC. What that might be is completely open: Do you still have old concert tickets from an ESC? Did you have your first kiss while a Céline Dion record was playing? Do you have any memorabilia or photos that mean a lot to you? Or did you even enter for the ESC once and have memories of it?

By sending in your entry, you grant the Basel Historical Museum the right to use the image(s) submitted. By sending in your entry, you also confirm that you have read the conditions of entry.
Participants agree that the Basel Historical Museum has the right to publish all information and images submitted via the web form on all media channels (print/social media) without any time restrictions and without compensation. Submitted contributions that are not related to the topic, that violate applicable law, that raise doubts about the author or that are perceived as inappropriate or offensive can be deleted without explanation. There is no right to publication or use of a submission.
Help us to capture, share and preserve the emotions and memories of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel! During the event, we are organising a special exhibition – the ESC Memory Box – in a container right next to the Tinguely Fountain, as well as online.
We invite you to visit the exhibition, share your stories and contribute objects. Selected items will become part of the museum collection and thus be preserved for future generations. We look forward to seeing you!
