Visit the ESC Memory Box next to the Tinguely Fountain or online, share your stories with us, or donate objects that remind you of the Eurovision Song Contest. Selected items will become part of the museum’s collection.
During the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, we collected emotions and memories of this major event with your help.
A total of 85 objects were collected in a container on Theaterplatz and 125 stories were recorded on video. 1,854 visitors came by. Stories were also submitted to the digital memory box.
Three of the collected objects and their stories are currently on display at the Barfüsserkirche in the exhibition ‘Zeitsprünge – Basler Geschichte in Kürze’ (Leaps in Time – Basel History in Brief).

Our digital exhibition showcases the objects and memories you've shared with us digitally via the submission form or in person at the ESC Memory Box.
At the end of the project, the HMB publishes the project report and media review. The project process described below, the respective lessons learned and the final evaluation can serve as a model for other memory and cultural institutions for their own similar projects.
