The striking Europa League trophy originates from Milan and was crafted in silver with a marble base by G.D.E. Bertoni in 1971. It measures 68.5 cm in height, 33.5 cm in width and weighs an impressive 15 kg – making it the heaviest UEFA trophy. It was awarded in its original form until 2009. Unlike many cups, it has no handle, giving it a modern, clean design. Since its inception, the trophy has helped many clubs achieve international breakthroughs. Until 2009, it was the centrepiece of many stories of surprise victories and legends. FC Sevilla dominated the competition in the 2000s with an impressive series of titles. Today, the trophy is considered the epitome of perseverance, fighting spirit and international club tradition.

The European Championship trophy is named after Henri Delaunay, the visionary behind the European Championship, who came up with the idea of a continental tournament back in 1927. After his death, his son Pierre realised this dream and designed the first trophy in 1960, which was crafted by Adrien Chobillon in Paris: 42.5 cm high, weighing 10 kg, with a marble base. The Soviet Union was the first team to lift the trophy after a 2-1 victory over Yugoslavia in the final. Germany holds the record with three titles (1972, 1980, 1996) – no other country has won the Henri Delaunay Cup more often. In 2006, a modernised version made of sterling silver without a base and engraved with the names of the winners was added. The trophy remains the property of UEFA; after three consecutive or five overall victories, an association receives a faithful replica.

The «Old Big Ears» trophy is the iconic symbol of the premier class. Designed in 1967 by Bernese goldsmith Jürg Stadelmann, it replaced the original trophy, which Real Madrid was allowed to keep after six triumphs. It took 340 hours to create this masterpiece from sterling silver – 73.5 cm high and weighing 7.5 kg. The distinctive handles give the trophy its legendary nickname. After Liverpool won its fifth title in 2005 and was also allowed to keep the trophy, the fifth version was produced in 2006. The original has remained with UEFA ever since; the winners receive replicas. The example on display in our museum is this very trophy – on loan from UEFA and a symbol of European football history.

Made of sterling silver, it measures 60 cm in height and weighs 10 kg. The spiral handles and body symbolise dynamism and strength. The names of the winning clubs are engraved in the centre of the trophy. Since 2005, this trophy has been the ultimate accolade in European women's football. It was crafted in Milan by the renowned manufacturer G.D.E. Bertoni from sterling silver. Standing at 60 cm tall, weighing 6.7 kg and featuring an elegant, curved shape, it is the embodiment of sporting excellence and aesthetic sophistication. The shape was inspired by the UEFA tournament logo and combines modern design with traditional craftsmanship. The trophy is owned by UEFA and will be presented at a ceremony at the Joggeli Stadium on 27 July 2025. In 2022, England's Lionesses stormed to victory, claiming the trophy at Wembley Stadium in London. This historic triumph, witnessed by a jubilant home crowd, will be remembered for years to come.

The Swiss Cup trophy – often referred to as the ‘Sandoz Trophy’ – is an important symbol of national football history. Donated in 1925 by Lausanne banker Aurèle-Gilbert Sandoz, the trophy was made from around seven kilograms of silver to honour the new competition. It was presented for the first time on 11 April 1926 at the Letzigrund Stadium, when Grasshoppers beat FC Bern 2–1. Measuring 50 cm high and 45.5 cm wide, it remains the elegant trophy of the country's most traditional football tournament. It has been awarded annually ever since, but remains the property of the Swiss Football Association. In 2025, FC Basel 1893 won its 14th cup title with a clear 4-1 victory – and has been responsible for the trophy ever since.
