Room 312

Neustück Room

The room is named after Maximilian Neustück (1756-1834), the painter of the canvas wallpaper, which was transferred here from the house "zum Rosenfeld" (Freiestrasse 40). Originally, the bedrooms of the sons of the master of the house were located in this room. In the separated alcove (bed niche) there is a bed with a quilted blanket made of printed cotton, which dates back to the 2nd half of the 18th century. The adjacent toilet cabinet contains numerous objects of beauty care as well as a night chair from the late 18th century and a bidet from the early 19th century.
