The turquoise-painted wall paneling of this room belongs to the original furnishings of the Haus zum Kirschgarten. It was probably used by the art-loving master of the house for the presentation of framed engravings. Today it provides a contrasting background for the many miniature portraits made in various techniques. The tiled stove from the late 18th century comes from a house at Greifengasse 35 in Kleinbasel.
