Classicist cabinet
Description
This high-quality piece of classicist furniture does not come from the Haus zum
Kirschgarten, but it would fit in very well with the original interior style of the house
of the house. It fills a gap in the holdings of classicist furniture of the Historisches
Museum Basel and complements the oak panelling installed in the Haus zum Kirschgarten and the

The facade of the furniture is characterized by narrow fluted pilasters and a

Crossed laurel branches and a hunting arch in the wreath profile testify to the rank and ambition of the owner.
