Graduated with a diploma in Conservation Studies specializing in glass, ceramics and porcelain at West Dean College in Chichester (southern England). From 1987 to 1989 restoration of classical archaeological objects – metal, pottery and glass – at Martin Foster’s art restoration studio in London. Back in Switzerland from 1990 to 1999 at the Basel-Land Dept. of Archaeology and the Basel-Land Museum in Liestal. There worked mainly on the preparation and cataloguing of locally found prehistoric and ancient objects and the salvaging of finds from several major excavations. Joined Basel Historical Museum as conservator-restorer for archaeology, glass, ceramics and porcelain in 1999. Until 2013 conservator of prehistoric and ancient finds unearthed by the Basel-Stadt Dept. of Archaeology, the museum’s own works in storage and objects for exhibitions (incl. «Der Geschmiedete Himmel» of 2006). Since 2014 installation coordinator for various exhibitions (incl. «Silver & Gold» of 2015, «Wirk.Stoffe» of 2016, «Resurfaced» of 2017, «Leaps in Time» and «Gold and Glory» of 2019).
